Toes
Styles can be round (Renaissance), pointed (Medieval), squared, upturned (Middle Eastern) and oval. They can have a center seam or be unseamed and interlined (hard) or not (soft).
Slashes of all shapes with colored linings can be found on many museum examples of Medieval and Renaissance footwear. They can be located on all areas of shoes and up the sides of boots.
